Well, the Methodist Church is getting ready to go through what many other denominations have already experienced - the decision to stay with the United Methodist Conference (UMC) or join a new conference called the Global Methodist Church or join another older conference - the Wesleyan. The new conference will not be in favor of having LGBT pastors. It seems that everywhere one looks in society today, there is division. Everyday, we are faced with making decisions - to stand up for what we believe in and have always been taught versus the exact opposite. Sadly, divisiveness seems to have invaded every aspect of our society!
