Just read some really startling news yesterday regarding AI (artificial intelligence). Microsoft has just released a chatbot - Bing or Sydney as it (he) is called. It is able to carry on a conversation with a person and actually express humanlike expressions or "emotions. I viewed the video yesterday whereby a reporter interviewed this chatbot. It was quite a long exchange in which the Washington Post reporter I believe asked him some pointed questions. to which he made humanlike responses where he seemed upset and expressed this to the reporter. If you get a chance, check out this conversation. Simply amazing that we have come this far. Who knows what else is going on with AI. I'm sure this is only the beginning!
